One of our most loyal Social Security Alumni members passed away over a year ago. Today, I was pleased to find a tribute to him at the Carroll County Community Media Center (Westminster, Maryland). I think it would be appropriate to cite this tribute so that his friends who read this blog might learn about an additional facet of his life.
Stan Keasel Remembered
"On November 5, 2008, the CMC (Carroll Media Center) lost Stanley 'Stan' Keasel, Jr., one of our most dedicated production volunteers. Stan helped with Memorial Day Perades, the Literacy Council's Spelin' Be, Critter Chatter, the CMC's Holiday Open House, and FallFest Parades. He was also an integral part of Terry Powell's The Good, The Bad, and The Huh. he will be sorely missed."
Amen to that!
