Our trip to the Basilica and Tio Pepe's has been moved to April and we need some more attendees in order not to lose money on the trip. Give Marsha Long a call at
410-756-3667.
In addition, some people who asked to be on our March 9th free casino trip have not followed through and we have some seats open. Please think about joining us and filling those seats, otherwise, again, we will lose some money on the trip.
thanks.

New Website
Just wanted to let you know that I delivered a draft plan for an updated website for the Social Security Alumni Association. A company that consists of very talented and technically expert high school seniors will be assessing the plan and preparing a response and a price for their work, if we engage them.
Meanwhile, you can still visit www.ssaanational.org and weed through some extraneous and outdated material to find good stuff.
The membership application forms are still good on the site and can be downloaded if you wish. Our yearly membership fee is still only $10. For that price, you get our "award winning" newsletter, a subscription to the OASIS magazine (when published), a listing of our members, showing their regular mail addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses (but only if the members wanted that information published), information about trips and cruises, and activities in the 13 chapters around the U.S., plus a beautiful membership pin that you can wear all the time, so everybody can see how proud you are to work, or have worked, for the Social Security Administration.
If you have any questions, you can comment on this posting.. or else give me a call at 410-848-1838. You may also call the Alumni Office on Tuesdays at 410-965-7434.

OASIS.. Awards Issue (for 2009)
The OASIS awards issue for awards given out in 2009 has just been published. Only current Social Security employees and members of the Social Security Alumni Association get copies.
I've been retired from SSA for 15 years now, but I still knew 16 of the awardees.
They all still look as handsome and pretty as they did when I retired.
